Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives for 2026-era technologies including quantum-secure AI systems and neural interfaces
- Develop 5-year strategic innovation roadmaps aligning with emerging geopolitical and technological trends
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify and acquire disruptive startups in exponential tech domains
- Present futuristic vision frameworks to C-suite executives and institutional investors
- Establish ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and AI governance in post-2025 ecosystems
- Curate quarterly 'Future State' symposia with Nobel laureates and industry pioneers
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with proven track record in emerging tech commercialization
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or Futurist Studies (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership on exponential technologies (IEEE, Nature, or equivalent)
- Expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, brain-computer interfaces, or climate tech
- Fluency in futures methodologies (horizon scanning, scenario planning, Delphi techniques)
- Portfolio demonstrating 5+ innovations launched with global impact ($100M+ revenue)
- Security clearance eligibility for classified 2026-era R&D projects
