Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts relevant to 2026+ landscapes
- Develop quantitative and qualitative foresight models to assess impact probability and market readiness
- Author executive briefings and thought leadership content on future trends
- Collaborate with R&D teams to align innovation pipelines with future market demands
- Present strategic recommendations to board members and executive leadership
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Design scenario-planning frameworks for high-uncertainty environments
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning methodologies, and quantitative trend analysis
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience delivering insights to executive audiences
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Published author or thought leader in futurism or innovation spaces
