Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology strategy aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in researching and prototyping emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, sustainable energy)
- Analyze global innovation landscapes and identify disruptive opportunities for first-mover advantage
- Present strategic roadmaps to C-suite executives and board members with data-driven recommendations
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry leaders to accelerate innovation
- Monitor ethical implications and regulatory frameworks of future technologies
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of bold experimentation and calculated risk-taking
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or future-focused R&D leadership
- Proven track record of developing multi-year technology roadmaps with measurable ROI
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology, climate tech)
- Experience with scenario planning and foresight methodologies for 5-10 year horizons
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Strong executive presence and experience presenting to C-level audiences and boards
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in technology innovation or future studies
