Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum, bio-AI, metaverse infrastructure)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype 2026-ready solutions
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify and acquire disruptive startups
- Author thought leadership reports on technological disruption trends
- Design ethical frameworks for next-gen AI systems and autonomous technologies
- Secure $50M+ in R&D funding through federal grants and private partnerships
- Mentor a team of 8 futurists and technology scouts
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech strategy, innovation management, or futurism
- Proven track record of launching $100M+ revenue-generating technologies
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum, synthetic biology, decentralized systems)
- Executive experience in Fortune 500 or unicorn-scale tech companies
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published author in top-tier tech publications (MIT Tech Review, Nature Futures)
- Active speaker at Davos, CES, or equivalent global tech forums
