Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology) with 3-5 year predictive analysis
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating breakthrough innovations into commercial applications
- Partner with R&D teams to validate technological feasibility and market viability
- Present future technology insights to C-suite executives and board stakeholders
- Build cross-functional innovation ecosystems with academic and industry partners
- Anticipate regulatory and ethical implications of next-gen technologies
- Drive patent strategy and intellectual property protection for emerging innovations
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 8+ years tech strategy experience
- Proven track record in forecasting technology adoption cycles and market disruption
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, AGI, neurotech, or climate tech
- Exceptional data analysis skills with proficiency in predictive modeling tools
- Strong network within Silicon Valley research institutions and venture capital
- Published thought leadership in technology futures or innovation strategy
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
- Experience scaling tech innovations from prototype to market deployment
