Responsibilities
- Lead strategic planning for 2026 technology portfolio, including quantum AI, neural interfaces, and sustainable tech
- Direct cross-functional R&D initiatives bridging biotech, nanotechnology, and distributed systems
- Architect ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and human-machine collaboration
- Drive innovation sprints with MIT-caliber researchers and industry disruptors
- Present technology roadmaps to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Secure $50M+ in strategic partnerships and government innovation grants
- Mentor next-gen engineers in exponential technology principles
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or Bioengineering (or equivalent breakthrough experience)
- 10+ years leading cutting-edge R&D in Fortune 500 or unicorn-scale tech
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent peer-reviewed journals
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least three: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI ethics, or climate tech
- Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts for executive audiences
- Portfolio of shipped products that redefined industry standards
