Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap with 5-year strategic vision
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, Web3, biotech convergence) for commercial applications
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives to prototype future-facing solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with Silicon Valley startups and academic institutions
- Present technology forecasts and risk assessments to the C-suite and board
- Drive organizational adoption of agile innovation methodologies
- Mentor a team of futurists and technology architects
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 3+ years in futurism or innovation leadership
- Proven track record of scaling tech initiatives in high-growth environments
- Deep expertise in emerging tech domains (AI/ML, blockchain, quantum computing, IoT)
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Certification in Futures Studies or Technology Foresight preferred
- Experience presenting complex tech concepts to executive audiences
- Strong network within Silicon Valley's tech innovation ecosystem
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Innovation
