Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 industry disruption forecasts
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, biotech fusion, neural interfaces) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and marketing teams
- Partner with C-suite executives to translate strategic vision into actionable KPIs
- Conduct scenario planning for geopolitical/regulatory shifts affecting tech adoption
- Build and manage an ecosystem of startups, academic institutions, and thought leaders
- Present quarterly strategic briefings to board and investor stakeholders
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record launching at least 2 breakthrough tech products/services
- Expertise in forecasting methodologies (Delphi, horizon scanning, etc.)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their convergence
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies, or MBA with tech specialization
- Experience with agile innovation frameworks and rapid prototyping
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight preferred
