- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging tech disruptors (e.g., neuromorphic chips, carbon-negative data centers)
- Develop patent-pending frameworks for ethical AI governance and sustainable tech implementation
- Present strategic briefings to board members and key stakeholders quarterly
- Manage $2M+ annual innovation budget with ROI-focused KPIs
- Mentor junior strategists in future-tech methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech (quantum/AI/blockchain)
- Proven track record of executing 5-year roadmaps with measurable outcomes
- Expertise in futures forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi analysis, scenario planning)
- Deep understanding of ethical AI frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF)
- Published thought leadership in IEEE Spectrum, MIT Tech Review, or equivalent
- Certification in Quantum Computing Principles or AI Ethics (e.g., IBM Quantum, DeepMind)
- Experience scaling tech innovation in Fortune 500 or hypergrowth startups
