Responsibilities
- Engage with customers warmly and professionally to determine their needs and recommend appropriate products.
- Drive store sales and achieve individual and team sales targets through effective upselling and cross-selling techniques.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale (POS) system.
- Maintain the visual merchandising standards of the store to ensure an inviting and organized shopping environment.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints with patience, empathy, and a solutions-oriented approach.
- Assist in inventory management, stock replenishment, and loss prevention initiatives.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior retail sales experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with a diverse clientele.
- Reliable availability for weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 25 lbs) as needed.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and POS equipment.
