Responsibilities
- Lead Strategic Initiatives: Direct the end-to-end lifecycle of the 2026 World Cup legacy projects, from initial concept to final delivery, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Stakeholder Management: Cultivate and maintain relationships with government officials, sponsors, community leaders, and internal departments to drive consensus and secure buy-in.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee complex logistics, resource allocation, and budget management to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify potential operational, financial, and reputational risks early and implement robust mitigation strategies to keep initiatives on track.
- Performance Analytics: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly report on progress to senior leadership, providing data-driven insights for decision-making.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelorās degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Sports Management, or a related field; Masterās degree is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, specifically within the sports, event, or large-scale infrastructure sectors.
- Certification: PMP or PRINCE2 certification is highly preferred.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for diverse audiences.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
