Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive 2026+ strategic foresight frameworks using trend analysis and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive forces and future-proof organizational capabilities
- Create scenario-planning models for geopolitical, technological, and socioeconomic shifts
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with data-driven impact assessments
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs to pioneer emerging technologies
- Author thought leadership publications and industry whitepapers on future trends
- Mentor junior futurists and build a dedicated foresight team
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and predictive modeling
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive experience
- Published thought leader in futurism or strategic foresight
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFMP) strongly preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 5+ year strategic impact
