Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic territory plans to achieve sales targets across Richmond and surrounding Virginia counties
- Conduct in-person client meetings to identify needs and present tailored B2B technology solutions
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects through networking and industry events
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver seamless implementation and client onboarding
- Generate accurate sales forecasts and maintain detailed CRM documentation
- Represent the company at Virginia Chamber of Commerce and business association events
- Stay current on industry trends and competitive landscape across Virginia markets
Qualifications
- 3+ years of outside sales experience with proven track record of meeting/exceeding quotas
- Strong knowledge of Virginia business markets and economic landscape
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record for company vehicle usage
- Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce experience preferred)
- Exceptional presentation and negotiation skills with C-level executives
- Ability to travel 60-70% across Virginia territory including Northern VA, Hampton Roads, and Central VA
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Professional demeanor and polished appearance for client-facing interactions
