Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic foresight frameworks to identify opportunities and risks through 2026+
- Lead cross-functional scenario planning workshops for emerging tech (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Analyze global macroeconomic, demographic, and geopolitical trends impacting future business models
- Create compelling narrative reports and executive presentations translating complex futures into strategic priorities
- Partner with product and engineering teams to integrate future-ready innovations into development roadmaps
- Establish horizon scanning processes and maintain a real-time 'future intelligence' dashboard
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Economics, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional data synthesis and storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Certification in futures methodologies (e.g., WFS, APF) or equivalent practical expertise
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ major strategic foresight initiatives implemented in complex organizations
