Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 Global Technology Foresight Index tracking 500+ emerging technologies
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for C-suite executives on disruptive market shifts
- Produce quarterly 'Horizon Scan' reports predicting socioeconomic-political impacts on industries
- Architect the company's 10-year innovation pipeline using Delphi and STEEP-VR methodologies
- Partner with R&D to translate foresight findings into patentable intellectual property
- Present strategic briefings to Fortune 100 clients at exclusive industry summits
- Mentor a team of 3 junior futurists using proprietary 'Future Literacy' frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in corporate strategy consulting or innovation leadership at Fortune 500 firms
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Certification in futures methodologies (e.g., WFS, APF)
- Published thought leadership in top-tier journals (e.g., Futures, Technological Forecasting)
- Experience securing $1M+ budgets for strategic foresight initiatives
- Exceptional visualization skills with tools like Tableau or Power BI
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful trend-to-market transformations
