Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026+ strategic foresight frameworks using trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to translate future insights into market-ready products
- Author thought leadership publications on emerging technologies and societal shifts
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs for collaborative futures research
- Present strategic roadmaps to C-suite executives and board members
- Mentor junior futurists while maintaining cutting-edge expertise in exponential technologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futuristics, Strategic Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research
- Proven expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Published thought leader with 50+ citations in peer-reviewed futures journals
- Executive-level communication skills with ability to distill complex concepts
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, STEEP, causal layered analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating impact from past strategic foresight initiatives
