Responsibilities
- Lead multi-year foresight initiatives to identify and prioritize emerging technologies, market disruptions, and societal trends through 2030
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps for organizational adaptation to future megatrends (AI, quantum computing, climate resilience)
- Partner with product and engineering teams to integrate foresight insights into R&D pipelines and innovation frameworks
- Author high-impact trend reports and predictive models for executive decision-making and investor communications
- Curate and lead cross-functional 'Future Councils' with industry thought leaders and academic pioneers
- Design and implement horizon-scanning methodologies using AI-driven analytics and human-centered research
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles with Fortune 500/tech companies
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology adoption lifecycle modeling
- Published thought leadership on emerging technologies (AI, biotech, climate tech) or future-of-work topics
- Exceptional storytelling skills with experience translating complex foresight into executive narratives
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications (Singularity University network a plus)
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Horizons scanning, Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
