As a key member of our Global Futures Lab, you'll lead scenario-planning initiatives, identify disruptive opportunities, and translate complex data into actionable blueprints for C-suite executives. Our Austin hub offers a dynamic environment where your insights will directly shape industries from quantum computing to sustainable infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Analyze macroeconomic, technological, and sociocultural trends to forecast 2026 market landscapes
- Develop evidence-based scenario models for Fortune 500 clients across tech, healthcare, and energy sectors
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-proof business strategies
- Present strategic foresight findings to executive leadership at C-level workshops
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global innovation forums
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate a culture of strategic foresight within the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (Ph.D. preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and systems thinking
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling skills for complex concepts
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and board-level stakeholders
- Strong network in emerging tech ecosystems (AI, biotech, clean energy)
- Portfolio demonstrating foresight projects with measurable business impact
