Responsibilities
- Develop quantitative models predicting technological and societal shifts through 2026+
- Lead scenario planning workshops for Fortune 500 clients navigating disruption
- Produce annual 'Horizon Scan' reports identifying paradigm-altering innovations
- Design adaptive organizational frameworks for exponential change environments
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype future-proof business models
- Mentor junior futurists and publish thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals
- Establish KPIs for measuring organizational future-readiness maturity
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years experience in strategic foresight or trend analysis at enterprise level
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methodology, and causal layered analysis
- Published research on technological singularity or climate adaptation strategies
- Proficiency in Python/R for trend modeling and data visualization tools
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-proofing implementations
- Certification in Foresight Methodology (AC/SCF) or equivalent
- Experience with quantum computing or synthetic biology domains preferred
