Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends across technology, geopolitics, and socioeconomics to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026+
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for product development and market positioning
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints prototyping solutions for future challenges
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and board members through compelling narratives
- Establish foresight methodologies and innovation KPIs across the organization
- Partner with R&D to translate future forecasts into tangible R&D priorities
- Maintain a dynamic horizon scanning system tracking 500+ emerging signals
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field with 8+ years of experience
- Proven track record developing and implementing long-term innovation strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Exceptional storytelling skills with experience presenting to C-suite audiences
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech) and societal implications
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through complex innovation initiatives
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (e.g., Harvard Business Review, MIT Sloan)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
