Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across quantum computing, synthetic biology, and neuro-interfaces to identify disruptive opportunities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 Innovation Roadmap with quarterly strategic foresight updates
- Chair cross-functional Future Strategy Sessions with engineering, design, and product leadership
- Present futures scenarios to C-Suite executives and Board of Directors for strategic decision-making
- Author quarterly 'Future Forward' thought leadership reports for industry publication
- Manage $5M annual innovation grant portfolio for moonshot projects
- Represent Nexus at global futures conferences and build strategic partnerships
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology research
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology impact assessment
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Experience with AI-driven foresight tools (e.g., GPT-4 Trend Analysis, Palantir Metis)
- Published thought leadership in Harvard Business Review or similar tier
- Deep knowledge of Web3, quantum computing, and human augmentation technologies
- Certification in Strategic Foresight from the Association of Professional Futurists
