Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions through 2030
- Develop comprehensive future scenarios and strategic roadmaps for enterprise innovation portfolios
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with engineering, product, and leadership teams
- Quantify market potential and ROI for nascent technologies through data-driven modeling
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at industry forums
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and domain experts
- Advise executive leadership on long-term strategic positioning and risk mitigation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in innovation strategy, R&D, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial products or policies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology assessment methodologies
- Strong quantitative skills with proficiency in data modeling and forecasting tools
- Exceptional communication abilities for complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futures or innovation journals
- Experience with emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
