Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive 2026 strategic foresight frameworks using scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their market implications
- Produce high-impact deliverables including trend reports, innovation roadmaps, and risk assessments
- Partner with R&D teams to integrate future insights into product development pipelines
- Establish thought leadership through whitepapers, conference presentations, and industry publications
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems and competitive disruption signals
- Mentor junior futurists and build foresight capabilities across the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-oriented product development
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills for complex technical concepts
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in matrix organizations
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
