Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026 business landscapes
- Develop quantitative and qualitative scenario models mapping future market conditions and competitive threats
- Design and facilitate strategic foresight workshops with executive stakeholders across global divisions
- Produce trend intelligence reports synthesifying complex data into actionable strategic recommendations
- Establish early-warning systems for emerging risks and opportunities in technology adoption
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-proof business models and innovation pipelines
- Represent the organization at global futurist forums and industry thought leadership platforms
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Business Analytics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 7+ years of professional experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with ability to communicate complex insights to non-technical audiences
- Proficiency in strategic foresight tools (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method, STEEP Analysis)
- Track record of developing actionable strategies based on future-oriented research
- Experience advising C-suite executives on long-term strategic positioning
