Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and climate tech
- Develop and publish 2026 technology roadmaps with actionable strategic recommendations
- Facilitate executive workshops on disruptive innovation scenarios
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Translate complex foresight data into product development pipelines
- Represent the company at international innovation conferences and forums
- Mentor junior futurists in systemic thinking and scenario planning methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology research
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Published research on exponential technologies' societal impact
- Expertise in scenario planning and strategic foresight frameworks (e.g., Shell's Two Loops)
- Proven track record influencing C-level strategy decisions
- Deep knowledge of at least two emerging tech verticals (AI/ML, synthetic biology, quantum, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
