Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends to forecast 2026's technological, economic, and social shifts
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for disruptive technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed foresight into product development
- Produce high-impact trend reports for C-suite and investor stakeholders
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype solutions for future market needs
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic and industry futurist networks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of predicting and documenting future trends (portfolio required)
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and systems thinking
- Strong data visualization and storytelling skills for complex futures
- Experience with AI/ML tools for trend analysis and prediction modeling
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- Certification in Foresight methodologies (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists)
