Responsibilities
- Develop 10-year technology foresight frameworks using predictive analytics and trend synthesis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into product roadmaps
- Author Horizon's annual 'State of the Future' report for C-suite and board stakeholders
- Establish partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and other future-focused institutions
- Design ethical frameworks for emerging technologies including generative AI and neural interfaces
- Mentor junior futurists in horizon scanning methodology and scenario planning
- Present findings at Davos, TED, and global innovation summits
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field with 8+ years applied experience
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial innovation (portfolio required)
- Expertise in at least three emerging domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or AGI
- Published author in peer-reviewed futures journals or industry white papers
- Proficiency in futures research tools: Delphi method, cross-impact matrices, and horizon scanning
- Exceptional storytelling ability to communicate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Certification in Strategic Foresight from WFS or similar institution
