Responsibilities
- Analyze convergence of AI, biotech, and quantum computing to identify 2026 market opportunities
- Develop scenario-based models for societal and economic transformation post-2025
- Lead cross-functional workshops with engineering and product teams to translate foresight into strategy
- Produce annual 'Future State' whitepapers for C-suite and board stakeholders
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting 2026 technology adoption curves
- Build and maintain expert network across academia, government, and emerging startups
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or related quantitative field
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology research
- Published thought leadership on exponential technologies (e.g., Nature, MIT Tech Review)
- Proficiency in foresight frameworks (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning, Cross-Impact Matrix)
- Experience with computational modeling tools (Python, R, or equivalent)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful 5-year future predictions
- Security clearance eligibility for classified research partnerships
