Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, quantum computing, biotech, and climate tech domains
- Develop 5-year strategic foresight frameworks for executive decision-making
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with R&D, product, and finance teams
- Author thought leadership publications and present at industry conferences
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and venture capitalists
- Translate complex future scenarios into actionable business strategies
- Oversee implementation of pilot programs for emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in innovation strategy, consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating foresight into market opportunities
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills
- Experience with scenario planning and strategic modeling frameworks
- Published research or patents in innovation/futurism fields
- Certification in Foresight or Strategic Planning (e.g., AC/MP)
