Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and sustainable energy sectors
- Develop and publish annual Future State Reports with strategic recommendations for executive leadership
- Design and facilitate cross-functional innovation workshops to cultivate future-thinking capabilities
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and emerging tech startups
- Translate complex future scenarios into actionable product development roadmaps
- Present foresight insights to stakeholders through compelling visual narratives and data storytelling
- Monitor geopolitical, economic, and societal shifts impacting technology adoption
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology research
- Proven track record of developing future scenarios for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in at least two of these domains: AI ethics, climate tech, neurotech, or decentralized systems
- Exceptional data visualization skills with proficiency in tools like Tableau or Flourish
- PhD or Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field preferred
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Experience leading global cross-functional teams in matrix organizations
- Strong network within Silicon Valley innovation ecosystems
