Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly upon entering the store and provide exceptional service throughout their shopping experience.
- Assist customers in locating products, answering questions, and making purchase recommendations.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently to process sales, returns, and exchanges.
- Keep the sales floor organized, clean, and visually appealing by stocking shelves and maintaining product displays.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock replenishment as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and maintain a positive team atmosphere.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and escalate issues to management when necessary.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating totals.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, retail environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
