Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical industry applications
- Lead experimental protocols on 50+ qubit quantum processors
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum error correction techniques
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Develop quantum machine learning frameworks for 2026-era data challenges
- Mentor junior researchers and cross-functional engineering teams
- Secure federal and private research grants totaling $1M+
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum information theory
- Proficiency in high-performance computing environments (HPC, GPU clusters)
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation strategies
