Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Lead experimental validation of quantum circuits on superconducting and photonic platforms
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum-classical hybrid architectures
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science and present at premier conferences
- Secure $2M+ in government and industry research grants
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing
- Strong publication record in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex research projects from ideation to implementation
- Passion for solving problems at the intersection of physics and computer science
