Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to develop error correction protocols for quantum processors
- Lead research initiatives in quantum machine learning and cryptography applications
- Publish findings in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.) and present at international conferences
- Secure government and corporate grants to advance quantum computing infrastructure
- Mentor junior researchers and cross-functional engineering teams
- Develop patents for quantum computing methodologies and architectures
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent research experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum information theory or quantum algorithms
- Expertise in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Proficiency with high-performance computing environments and parallel programming
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, etc.)
- Strong track record of securing research funding or patents
