Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives mapping technological, social, and economic trends through 2026 horizon scanning
- Develop and implement scenario planning frameworks for quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotechnology convergence
- Champion innovation workshops with Fortune 500 clients to co-create future-ready business models
- Author quarterly trend reports published in Harvard Business Review and MIT Technology Review
- Manage a $10M R&D portfolio focused on exponential technologies
- Represent company at global futurist conferences and policy summits
- Mentor junior futurists through our proprietary Future-Ready Leadership program
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or emerging technology research
- Proven track record of publishing trend analysis in top-tier journals or industry publications
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and systems thinking methodologies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Proficiency in AI trend analysis tools like Trend Hunter or Gartner Hype Cycle
- Experience advising C-suite executives on disruptive technology adoption
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional presentation skills with 500+ audience experience
