Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum circuit architectures for commercial applications
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for scalable quantum processors
- Lead cross-functional teams in building hybrid quantum-classical systems
- Optimize qubit coherence and gate fidelity in cryogenic environments
- Create quantum algorithms to accelerate machine learning workflows
- Secure patents for novel quantum hardware innovations
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and publish research in Nature Physics
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience with quantum computing platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, D-Wave)
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Proficiency in cryogenic engineering and superconducting circuits
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Experience securing $10M+ R&D funding for quantum projects
