Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers in quantum algorithm development
- Develop error correction protocols for quantum systems operating at millikelvin temperatures
- Create blueprints for quantum-classical hybrid computing infrastructures
- Research and integrate emerging quantum technologies (topological qubits, photonic quantum processors)
- Document quantum system architectures and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals
- Mentor junior researchers on quantum computing principles and best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven track record in designing quantum computing systems or superconducting circuits
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong background in quantum machine learning algorithms and optimization
- Experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Familiarity with cryogenic engineering and quantum hardware integration
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Certification in Quantum Systems Engineering (QSE) preferred
