Responsibilities
- Design and develop autonomous robotic systems for extreme environment applications
- Integrate AI/ML algorithms with hardware control systems for adaptive decision-making
- Lead prototyping cycles using rapid-iteration methodologies (Agile/Scrum)
- Collaborate with aerospace and industrial partners on system integration
- Conduct failure mode analysis and implement robust safety protocols

Qualifications
- Masters or PhD in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years developing autonomous systems with Python/C++
- Expertise in ROS, SLAM, and sensor fusion technologies
- Proven experience with simulation environments (Gazebo/Unity)
- Strong background in control theory and real-time embedded systems
- Published research in IEEE or top-tier robotics conferences preferred
- Clearance for DoD/NASA projects a plus
