Responsibilities
- Design and implement hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for complex optimization problems
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-resistant cryptography frameworks
- Architect quantum machine learning models for predictive analytics and autonomous systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors and error mitigation protocols
- Secure federal and private research funding through grant proposals and white papers
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers and publish in Nature/Science journals
- Advise C-suite on quantum AI integration roadmap for 2026 commercial applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Computational Mathematics
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing research with 2+ in leadership roles
- Expertise in quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and high-performance computing
- Published record in quantum machine learning or quantum algorithms
- Security clearance or ability to obtain for government-contracted projects
- Proven track record of securing $1M+ in research grants
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and cloud quantum platforms (IBM, Amazon Braket)
