Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Greet and welcome customers warmly, ensuring a positive first impression and maintaining high customer service standards.
- Product Expertise: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of our products and services, providing detailed information to help customers make informed decisions.
- Sales Achievement: Proactively engage with customers to understand their needs, recommend appropriate products, and drive sales targets.
- Store Operations: Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor according to company standards.
- Transaction Management: Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems.
- Inventory Support: Assist with stock replenishment, inventory counts, and merchandising displays.
- Feedback Collection: Act as a liaison between the customer and management by providing valuable feedback on product performance and customer preferences.
Qualifications
- Experience: Prior experience in retail sales, customer service, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse customers and team members.
- Reliability: A proven track record of punctuality and attendance is essential.
- Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, as required by business needs.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights (up to 20 lbs), and maneuver around the sales floor.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Local Presence: Must reside in the local area (Illinois) and have reliable transportation.
