Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers as they enter the store, providing friendly and professional assistance.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Stock shelves and display areas with new merchandise, ensuring the store is organized and visually appealing.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and clutter-free sales floor throughout the night shift.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock replenishment.
- Handle cash and credit transactions with strict accuracy and security protocols.
- Address customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a courteous and problem-solving manner.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in retail sales, customer service, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with a diverse customer base.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail for cash handling and inventory tasks.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift merchandise up to 25 lbs repeatedly.
