Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service during evening/night hours, product knowledge, and personalized shopping experiences
- Process transactions accurately using POS systems while maintaining cash handling security protocols
- Manage inventory, restock shelves, and create visually appealing displays during overnight shifts
- Collaborate with night crew for store resets, markdowns, and operational tasks
- Monitor store security and report any irregularities immediately to management
- Meet/exceed sales targets through upselling and customer engagement strategies
- Maintain clean, organized sales floor and backroom areas throughout shift
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year retail/sales experience with proven customer service excellence
- Availability to work flexible night shifts (10 PM - 6 AM) including weekends/holidays
- Strong communication skills with ability to build rapport with diverse clientele
- Basic math proficiency and comfort with POS technology (Square, Shopify POS)
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Valid CA driver's license preferred for potential inventory runs
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework a plus
- Reliable transportation to Oakland location with secure parking
