Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year strategic foresight frameworks for AI, biotechnology, and climate resilience
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype future-centric solutions with tangible 2026 launch targets
- Establish partnerships with MIT Media Lab, World Economic Forum, and NASA JPL
- Present annual 'State of the Future' briefings to UN and G7 summits
- Oversee Horizon's $10M FutureTech Accelerator program
- Author industry-defining white papers on post-quantum security and neuro-interfaces
- Mentor junior futurists through Horizon's 'Visionary Pipeline' program
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent with 8+ years strategic foresight experience
- Published thought leadership in Nature Futures or IEEE Technology & Society
- Proven track record of scaling futuristic concepts to commercialization
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum, AI, synthetic biology)
- Certification in Advanced Futures Methodology (AFM) or equivalent
- Fluency in at least two languages beyond English
- Portfolio of at least three implemented future-shaping initiatives
