Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 innovation roadmaps aligned with market trends and client needs
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and strategists to prototype breakthrough solutions
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) for commercial applications
- Present innovation strategies to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Drive R&D initiatives with $2M+ annual budgets and 15+ person teams
- Establish partnerships with research institutions and tech incubators
- Mentor junior talent and foster a culture of continuous learning
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation, R&D, or strategy leadership roles
- Proven track record launching successful tech products/services post-2020
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., AI ethics, Web3, sustainable tech)
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field
- Experience scaling innovation initiatives in Fortune 500 environments
- Exceptional communication skills for executive-level presentations
- PMP or similar innovation certification preferred
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or conferences
