Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) and identify disruptive opportunities
- Develop 5-10 year strategic technology roadmaps aligned with market evolution
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize insights from R&D, product, and business teams
- Present futuristic visions to C-suite executives and key stakeholders
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems and competitive landscapes
- Collaborate with venture partners to identify acquisition opportunities
- Produce thought leadership content and foresight frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of developing long-term tech roadmaps
- Expertise in emerging technologies: AI, quantum computing, AR/VR, synthetic biology
- Exceptional analytical and systems thinking abilities
- Strong presentation skills with experience to executive audiences
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MS/MBA/PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
