You'll translate complex technological trends into executable business strategies while maintaining our competitive edge through 2026 and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (quantum computing, biotech convergence, AI ethics) to identify disruptive opportunities and threats through 2030
- Develop and maintain the company's 2026 Technology Roadmap with quarterly horizon-scanning updates
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype and validate next-gen business models using emerging tech
- Present strategic foresight briefings to executive stakeholders and board members with data-driven scenarios
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and startups specializing in frontier technologies
- Design and implement innovation KPIs measuring technological adoption readiness and market disruption potential
- Author annual 'State of the Future' reports predicting technological inflection points for our industry
- Mentor internal talent in strategic foresight methodologies and future-oriented thinking
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years experience in corporate innovation, technology consulting, or strategic foresight roles
- Proven track record of developing and implementing multi-year technology roadmaps
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, climate tech) and their market applications
- Exceptional scenario planning and systems thinking abilities
- Experience presenting to C-level executives and influencing strategic decisions
- Published thought leadership on technological disruption or future trends
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning, backcasting)
