Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, climate resilience, quantum computing) to forecast 2026+ market disruptions
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for C-suite executives across tech, healthcare, and finance sectors
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into product roadmaps and R&D priorities
- Author thought leadership reports published in Forbes, MIT Tech Review, and industry journals
- Build proprietary forecasting models using predictive analytics and machine learning tools
- Advise board members on long-term risk mitigation and exponential opportunity identification
- Represent Horizon Dynamics at global futurist conferences and industry summits
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, corporate foresight, or futurism with Fortune 500 experience
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or MBA with specialization in innovation
- Proven track record of developing and implementing 5-10 year strategic roadmaps
- Expertise in emerging technologies: generative AI, synthetic biology, quantum computing, and decentralized systems
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in strategic foresight or innovation management
- Certification in scenario planning (e.g., Shell Methodology) or futures research methodologies
