Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026+ strategic foresight framework using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing solutions in AI, biotech, and quantum computing
- Author high-impact thought leadership positioning Horizon as the authority on 2026 technology and market evolution
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, government agencies, and global innovation hubs
- Translate complex future scenarios into actionable business roadmaps with measurable KPIs
- Mentor a high-performing team of futurists and innovation specialists
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and key stakeholders
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futures research with Fortune 500 or leading tech firms
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology) and their societal implications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, Technology Management, or related field
- Exceptional storytelling skills with ability to communicate complex future scenarios to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in industry journals or major media outlets
- Experience leading global cross-functional teams with 15+ members
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in futures research methodologies (Delphi, causal layered analysis)
- Passion for ethical innovation and sustainable development frameworks
