Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives identifying emerging technologies and societal shifts through 2026
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for C-suite decision-making
- Produce visionary whitepapers and trend briefings influencing company-wide strategy
- Partner with R&D to translate foresight into actionable innovation pipelines
- Represent the organization at global futurist conferences and thought leadership forums
- Mentor cross-functional teams on future-thinking methodologies
- Design and conduct foresight workshops with key stakeholders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systems thinking
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence executive leadership
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategy publications
