Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Produce quarterly impact reports on emerging technologies (quantum computing, bioengineering, AGI)
- Lead cross-functional workshops with C-suite executives to translate foresight into actionable roadmaps
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Create proprietary predictive models for market disruption and societal transformation
- Represent Horizon Innovations at World Economic Forum and TED Global conferences
- Mentor junior strategists while publishing breakthrough insights in Nature Futures
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or related quantitative field
- 10+ years in strategic foresight with Fortune 500 or unicorn startup experience
- Proven track record of predicting market shifts with 85%+ accuracy (provide case studies)
- Expertise in Bayesian forecasting and Monte Carlo simulations
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their ethical implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work influencing real-world decisions
- Fluency in at least two analytical programming languages (Python/R required)
